What is the Finnegan IP Summit?

Since its launch in 2023, the Finnegan IP Summit has been a driving force in advancing diversity within intellectual property (IP) law and empowering law school students to jump start their careers in IP. In 2024, The American Lawyer Industry Awards recognized the inaugural Finnegan IP Summit as the Best Diversity Initiative.

The participants of the Finnegan IP Summit will attend a multi-day immersion program in Washington, DC, and participate in educational programs, networking events, and hands-on workshops with judges, government representatives, in-house counsel, and Finnegan lawyers. The program includes site visits, including to courts, corporation, law school, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for in-depth understanding of IP practices and careers. Is there a cost involved?
The program is free to the students, and Finnegan will cover travel costs, meals, and accommodations in DC.

Incoming law students - April 30, 2025
