LibTech Desk Student Assistant
UCF Libraries LibTech Desk is looking for friendly and tech-savvy Student Assistants at the John C. Hitt Library. Students should have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly. The starting wage is $13.00 per hour, with a 10-20 hours per week schedule. Responsibilities:
- Checking in/out LibTech equipment to patrons
- Inspecting & maintaining technology materials for damage and proper operation
- Providing basic technical assistance for personal technology devices to access library services
- Assisting students with printing and scanning documents inside the Print Zone
- Shelving items
- Cleaning equipment and materials
- Fielding LibTech desk phone calls
- Other tasks as needed to support the operation of the LibTech desk, Print Zone desk and library operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer Service Experience
- Technology Experience
- Library Experience
