Entry-Level Software Engineer (St Cloud, FL - OnSite)

We are seeking Entry-Level/Junior Level Software Engineers to join our talented, dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for a new grad to start a career in technology.  Must be a GRADUATE or have an anticipated graduation date within the next month and be available to work Full Time on or before 5/12/25 – as we are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.  

MUST be able to work on-site, full-time at our office in St. Cloud, FL 34769.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency with Software Development, specifically with the Java programming language; will possess a degree in a computer science or technology related discipline; have excellent customer service and communication skills.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or another related tech-oriented major is required -- May consider a student graduating within the next few weeks
  • MUST be highly proficient in Java and programming concepts; must have recently coded
  • MUST have other technical experience such as work experience, internships, Hackathons, or recent personal projects to showcase – or other non-technical work experience (retail, customer service, food services, etc.)
  • Experience with JavaScript, CSS, PHP and HTML preferred
  • Dedicated, hardworking, detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization/project
  • Team player, self-starter with a passion for programming
  • Must be comfortable presenting to small groups
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • MUST be a U.S. citizen or hold a Permanent Green Card - US Government Clearance is required for this position -- security background investigation and drug test required
  • MUST work on-site at our St. Cloud Office 34769 - Must possess a valid Driver's License with dependable transportation

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Successful completion of our Hybrid Training Program over the initial 90-Day Probationary period
  • Creates and modifies computer programs based on project specifications
  • Collaborates with other software developers, technical leads, project managers and technical staff to fully understand the tasks that must be accomplished by the software requested
  • Designs, or assists with design of graphical user interface (GUI) as needed
  • Tests programs; coordinates and observes beta testing of new or updated programs
  • Debugs or corrects any issues discovered during testing
  • Analyzes, reviews, and revises programs as needed to increase operating efficiency or adapt program to new requirements
  • Develops and maintains documentation of program development and revisions
  • Develops, executes and documents testing scenarios and outcomes
  • Participates in team meetings and software demos as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
